Homotopical Algebra I

Following last semester’s course on Homological Algebra, the Decoding Dimensions program is launching a series of courses on Homotopical Algebra. This course is the first in the series and focuses on classical Homotopy Theory of topological spaces.

The main goal is to develop geometric intuition and a solid background for the more abstract theories to come, including model categories, higher category theory, and higher algebra.

The course will primarily follow Tammo tom Dieck’s Algebraic Topology, with the aim of covering its first eight chapters. For more information, please contact the instructor, Mohammad Amin Turang at turang @ ipm . ir.
